ELIZABETH CRAGUN

DAUGHTER OF JACOB & CELESTE
'TILL WE MEET AGAIN

they placed elizabeth's permanent grave marker down about a month ago, so while we were in virginia for Christmas we went to see it. it was a beautiful, peaceful day covered in snow. although my heart ached for my little daughter, i kept my eyes dry until tanner said to me, "mom, i sure wish my sister could've been here for Christmas." me too, tanner...me too!

You are each unique and precious.
Each of you has your own burdens and challenges, which give you the blessing of
turning to the Lord for help.

breaking my heart...

tonight we drove around listening to christmas music and checking out all the christmas lights in a nearby neighborhood. as we were finished tanner asked, "mom, can i ask santa to bring elizabeth back for christmas? that song 'all i want for christmas is you' reminds me of her. " logan then said, "yeah mom, please? i like baby."

very thankful...

We have had a interesting year, to say the least, but are very thankful for all the ways our Heavenly Father has blessed us...
-beautiful, healthy sons
-a growing, happy marriage
-supportive family
-a great residency program for Jake (with hopes of a good job in dallas next year)
-a second implant for logan
-wonderful friends
-a sweet daughter waiting for us
and
-many, many opportunities for growth

here are some of our thanksgiving festivities:

treats for school...
logan's school program...

a beautiful cake made by ms. cj...

we had a nice thanksgiving at home joined by two of jake's co-residents...

puppy party!

we always say chase is our little puppy dog! he doesn't like to take baths, he has an obsession with ripping things up to shreds, he urinates in inappropriate places and he has bad table manners...basically, he is still not house-broken! so, i saw some cute ideas on "sister's stuff"and in celebration of turning 3 we had a doggie themed party...
puppy ears...
the puppy check-up...

the grooming station...

enjoying doggie snacks...

the rain permitted us to go outside, so we watched a little "Bolt"...
enjoying some hot dogs in our doggie bowls...

take-home doggie bags...
complete with a "Doggie Jams" CD, scooby snacks, stickers and "woof water"...
thanks for coming...
