tonight we drove around listening to christmas music and checking out all the christmas lights in a nearby neighborhood. as we were finished tanner asked, "mom, can i ask santa to bring elizabeth back for christmas? that song 'all i want for christmas is you' reminds me of her. " logan then said, "yeah mom, please? i like baby."

ahhhhh, they are so close to the spirit. I love that they miss her, even though it is painful, it shows how much they were looking forward to having her in the family and how much they love her still. I hope you can feel peace and comfort during those little heart breaking moments.
Oh Celeste. It is certainly hard enough to have to understand loss for an adult, but must be so difficult to help your kids through it too. They are so sweet. Merry Christmas!
Celeste, you and Jake are such good people and you must be such rockstar parents, to have been blessed with the amazingly sweet children you have been given. They are so pure and so good. I can only hope that little Julian will be as sensitive, kind, and loving as your little guys. And surely Elizabeth is...she has a thing or two to teach us all, she is perfect. What a special family. :)
