Poole Party!
We were so excited to have the Poole's visiting close by in Orlando (for an orthodontic conference) a few weeks ago. They are good dental school friends of ours so it was great to spend the day with them.

It's finally Logan's turn...
Logan has been sitting on the sidelines cheering at all of Tanner's soccer games, baseball games and basketball games (patiently) for a few years...always asking, "My turn? My turn?" Well, finally it was Logan's turn. He started in a little basketball league at the YMCA and loves it. He is a little frustrated that they don't use "big" baskets, but other than that he is thrilled to be there. He is a natural and his coach calls him the "3-point man".
(His coach is John Curtis, #24 on the Gators Football team)

Stinkin' Valentine's Day!
Chase had the stomach flu for 3 days this week so...last night Jake and I joined him--Happy Valentine's Day nothin'!
Tanner was such a help by getting the kids breakfast and helping the two younger boys make homemade valentines for us. I felt terrible for not making the day special, so for dinner time, we tried to get out of our jammies and make some fun treats...
Jake did salvage the night by getting me flowers, writing me a good old fashioned love letter and doing this for me...

My little Piano Man...
Tanner started Piano lessons with a friend of ours and he loves it. I took lessons for just a few months when I was about 10, but chose not to pursue it...I wish, now, that I had. Maybe that's why we are so proud of this little video, neither Jake or I play. It has been fun to have the sound of the piano around the house.

Celebrity sighting...in Gainesville?
This week Chase and I went to "The Swamp" restaurant for lunch and saw a free acoustic performance by Matt Nathanson, who sings one of my favorite songs. Chase loved it and Matt was really friendly with him.
