Date Night!

Tanner & I went to see High School Musical 3 over the weekend. Tanner's review of the movie:

"I liked that there was a song just for the boys but other than that, there was kind of too much kissing in it for me."

...which was apparent when he let out a big "disgusting" during Troy and Gabrielle's lip lock and the audience all chuckled.

No School due to Gator Homecoming??

Yep--you read right, school was cancelled because of Univ. of Florida's Homecoming....welcome to Gator-ville!
We spent the day at Disney's Hollywood studios and celebrated the next day at a church breakfast and carnival.

Church Gator party...

We're just glad the blue & orange won or the town might have went into a frenzy!

BIG NEWS ON LOGAN'S BLOG...CLICK HERE TO SHARE IN OUR EXCITEMENT!

Tonight my husband said, "It's not often that the Lord guides you and then clearly shows you how he guided you." See L's blog to understand...

Halloween Fun

The kids get a new Halloween shirt each year to wear in October. Tanner said that he didn't like "any of them at the stores" and wished he could just make his own. So we bought some Iron-On transfer paper and Tanner designed his own t-shirt, entirely on his own!

Go Cougars!

This was emailed by my dad to some friends and family regarding my brother, Cory.

"For those of you who don't know, Cory tried out for one of three walk-on spots on BYU's basketball team. It started off with about 60 hopefuls. After 2 days of tryouts, they cut it to 12. He made the top 12 and got to scrimmage with the other 11 in the Marriott Center. Most were former Junior College players and some D-!, D-II players. Well...he made it! He now has a locker in the Marriott Center, new Cougar shoes and playing with the fellas. They also gave him two ankle braces. He thought that was the coolest part. Didn't even have to go buy them. It is a red-shirt type position, so don't look for him on ESPN, yet. Playing time will probably come next year. Unless, some of the players get hurt...but we wouldn't want that to happen (wink-wink)!"

Congratulations, Uncle Cory, there was never any doubt. You never cease to amaze me, you are (now more than ever) my sons' hero!

Forever Young!

We were so excited when the Youngs sent us an email last month telling us they were paying us a visit (from Nashville). They got here Friday morning and graced us with their presence until Tuesday night. I was glad that Jake and Sean could rekindle their 'Bromance'...oh and did I mention they brought with them an adorable new baby?

Here are some pictures from our fun weekend...

Kindermusik...

I have been searching around for a class that Chase and I could do together and didn't find much, so I renewed my Kindermusik teaching licence and start teaching in November!

I starting teaching Kindermusik when I first had Tanner and stopped when I moved to LA, so I'm excited to start up again. I said that I was going to take it easy and not teach any dance classes while we were here in Florida, but I am justifying it because it's just 2 days a week and it gives me and Chase a chance to hang out while the older boys are in school!

These pictures are from some of my friends that agreed to "pretend" to participate in a class so that I could get some pictures for my marketing materials...Thanks so much!

Our Conference Weekend...

We ate Cinnamon rolls and fruit, like we do every Conference Sunday...
We listened to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir...

We colored our Conference activity packets...

We folded our arms during the prayers...

And loved every minute!
