logan keeps us on our toes and is a great addition to our family. he has a sweet heart and a hilarious sense of humor. we are so proud of him for how hard he works at improving his speech and his hearing.

finally...

my almost-8-year-old finally lost his first tooth. "dentist dad" says that it's good to lose them later, but tanner didn't think so. his friend kneed him in the mouth and made it loose a week ago. since then, he has been trying for two days to pull it out. then last night, he brought jake a string and told him to wrap it around his tooth. i couldn't watch. but then about a minute later, there it was, dangling by a string.

we now have chase walking around trying to pull out his teeth, "i want money, i want money."

today while picking up chase from joy school, logan saw a pregnant woman. he said, "look mom. there's a baby in her belly. it's ok, you have more babies, then no more sad, everybody happy."

with hopes for a better year...

our 2009 had highs and lows. we learned a lot about ourselves and were given challenges to help us better evaluate our relationship with our Heavenly Father and strengthen our testimony of the plan of salvation. we have felt heartache that has made us grow, and love from others that has humbled us.

logan has been asking for a spider-man frisbee for the past two months, but we couldn't seem to find one anywhere, so santa asked dad to help him and after finding an old frisbee in gpa's garage--we put one together ourselves...

don't worry, santa changed his mind and switched out the note before the boys woke up...
