Tonight we went to the Dodgers game with Jake's Dental class. It was all-you-can-eat Dodger Dogs, popcorn, nachos and drinks. We are going to need extra Pepto Bismol on hand tomorrow, the kids (and Dad) definitely ate their money's worth! We had great seats, so great that our friend Jackie Houlberg caught a ball from Barry Bond's 741st home run! Jake caught a ball too...only it was just from one of the Dodger outfielders throwing it to us between innings! But Tanner and Logan thought it was just as cool.

YOU ARE THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL!

Tanner had a coupon to McDonald's so the boys got to get Happy Meals after they helped Mom match the socks from the laundry. The toy in the Happy Meal was an American Idol microphone. Oh dear...we had two Idol wannabes the rest of the day! Tanner had never seen the show but knew that Mom and Dad watched it. He asked if he could see it. We let him stay up and watch and he even voted. Chris was his favorite. The next day he was practicing what song he is going to sing when he auditions for American Idol. He couldn't decide between "Escape" by Gwen Stefani and "I Love to See the Temple" :)

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later having a house full of boys....Our first trip to the ER! :) Logan was trying to climb down from his chair after lunch and landed on the back of his head. It bleed pretty hard for about an hour. The staff at the ER got a kick out of him because of all his playful energy even though blood was gushing out the back of his head. :) He seem to not notice. We had to hold him down so that we could apply pressure to the wound. Anyway, after a 3 hour wait, Logan received his first set of staples, 10 to be exact. He woke up the next day with an extreme headache! He is doing fine though, he's been so tough.

On the way home we couldn't help but to chuckle at our week so far...Tanner has been sick with a fever of 101, Chase got an infection in his broviak tube Monday and today I guess Logan was feeling left out!

Finally, a real Jedi!

Tanner was finally chosen (after 3 previous attempts) to participate in the "Jedi Training Academy" at Disneyland. About 25 kids are chosen each time to be trained to be a real Jedi. They get to wear Jedi robes and are given a Lightsaber. After they learn how to fight the 'Dark Side', Darth Vader unexpectedly appears and the kids get to fight him one-on-one. It was the highlight of Tanner's life (so far)!

Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Taeya and Uncle Tyler came to town over Easter weekend to go to Disneyland. It was very crowded, but still lots of fun. Grandma brought her dance team to perform at California Adventures.

Tanner and Logan had their friends over and we had a great time coloring eggs for Easter. Logan actually liked cracking the eggs, more than coloring them, but a good time was had by all.

HAPPY EASTER!!

GO UCLA!!

We were so excited for UCLA to be in the final four. We all got in our UCLA gear, had a snack and cheered for the bruins. We were sadly disappointed with the outcome. With about 4 minutes left in the game, Tanner left the room while saying, "That's it I can't watch this game anymore. Bruins are not doing good!" Maybe next year...wait, didn't we say that last year?
