Thanks for all the
inquiries about Chase. We visited the doctor a few weeks ago and everything seems to be fine, so I am hoping it is just an early (TERRIBLE) case of the
terrible twos. We are still working with him and are trying to practice more patience. He is doing better and some days will even go until lunch without an "episode." I still have a hard time taking him out in public, but if I bring a pacifier & enough treats we can make it about 30 minutes!
I shot this little video today of Chase dancing with Tanner, I even got a great break-dancing move from him. It may not seem like a big deal to most, but when I see him like this, I tear up a little bit seeing him so happy. These moments with him are few and far between these days--so I'll take what I can get.

Sooo cute!! Chase is so big! Sorry about this moments with Chase. I know how you feel, specially when your 2 other kids didn't have these moments. But believe, you are such a great mom and i am sure you'll find the best way to help Chase to adjust to the new things. Just a little comment as a child psychologist, I observed he has his pacifier on and holds a little blanket and if he does that a lot it might be a signal of an "empty" space. Sometimes when kids have this kind of behavior (have a blanket, a doll, bear... as constant companion) it's because they are missing something. It might be a person, a toy even dad or mom or somebody that died. Nothing serious but just an observation to you. And again I think you are the best mom I've met! Good luck!
Patty,
Thanks for your comment. My other kids never took a pacifier or a "blankie" and once Chase developed those habits (at about 10 mo. old), I swore that he would not go past his first birthday still attached. I have changed my perspective since they (especially the 'binkie') are the only things that can comfort him sometimes. This situation has gotten to the point where I feel I do need a professional opinion--besides his pediatrician. I will take in what you suggested, thanks again!

That was so cute! Meili has started dancing along with the people on "High School Musical" auditions. She really gets into it, too. I love watching them have so much fun!
My little girl had the terrible twos right about 15 months or so. She was horrible. I wanted to pull my hair out. It's gotten a lot better now that she is two. She has learned so much in just a short time. What helped with Mackenzi was a video called The Letter Factory, it is a video about the letters and their sounds. It is very much worth getting. She can recognize the letters and she knows all the sounds. I think its made by Leap Frog.
Hey! To answer your question. Nathan Earl is my husband's cousin. What a small world! HOpe you guys are loving Florida. It looks like you are having a blast! We sure miss you guys.
