celebrating dr. seuss style...

what i was hoping would never happen, happened...my baby is one!  we just love him to pieces.  he has been such a breath of fresh air and all i dreamed he would be.  we were planning on completing our family with elizabeth when i became pregnant with her.   so i look at G and think about the loss that acquired that resulted in him being here.   i am so grateful that he is here.

this is one of my favorite things about him.  every morning when i get him out of bed, he holds my hand like this as we walk down stairs and get him a cup of milk.  it warms my heart every time...

You could have borrowed my stuff! My boys did this party for their 1 year old too. :) The same exact board cuts and a cool banner and pompoms, etc. sitting behind my buffet. So cute! Love it!!!
