i love "back to school". our lives get hectic once fall starts, but we also get on a better schedule. i operate better like that...and so do the boys. i get excited doing the school supply shopping and helping the boys pick out new school shoes.
we always do a back-to-school family home evening the sunday before school begins. we discuss issues that may arise during the school year and give the boys tools to help them deal with those issues. this year we invited the cousins and our friends, the petersons, over to join us.
right before bed, dad gave the boys (and mom) a father's blessing and we were ready for a new school year!

c didn't start pre-k quite yet, so on the first day we celebrated by going to lunch...
then it was the preschooler's turn...
its just me and my sweetness during the day now...pure heaven! :)
