finally...
my almost-8-year-old finally lost his first tooth. "dentist dad" says that it's good to lose them later, but tanner didn't think so. his friend kneed him in the mouth and made it loose a week ago. since then, he has been trying for two days to pull it out. then last night, he brought jake a string and told him to wrap it around his tooth. i couldn't watch. but then about a minute later, there it was, dangling by a string.

Well, I'll have to tell Tyler that he's not the only "late bloomer" when it comes to loosing teeth. He reports to me at least every few weeks that he's the ONLY kid in his class who hasn't lost a tooth!
Yeah Tanner! Hope the tooth fairy is better at your house than ours, poor Chloe, she's had a rough road with the forgetful tooth fairy.
