I discovered Survival Mode Parent last week and immediately signed up to be a volunteer. The organization matches parents who need help while their child is in the hospital to people who are willing to provide that help. I was very fortunate to have amazing friends and ward members who provided (more than enough) help when our little Chase was in the NICU for 3 1/2 months, so I know how important that help can be.
