Chase really impressed the doctors on Wednesday with how much weight he had gained and therefore there is no need to be on the
TPN IV anymore. His recovery has been better than expected...we are so proud of our little Chaser! His development is slightly delayed because of the long stay in the hospital, but he will catch up in just a few months. The
broviac tube will stay in for 2 more weeks, just in case his weight drops and he needs to be dependent on the
TPN again, but it looks like we are home free. It has been a long road, but we often forget about his minor health issues because of the constant smile he gives us. Having him has made life a bit more hectic and a lot more joyful. Tanner told me yesterday, "I am so glad Chase wanted to be in our family. Having the three brothers is really cool." I couldn't agree more.
